Not politicians, not an NGO, not a group of citizens! Serbian Pirates: Wiki-like people of today communicating differently!
- Serbian Pirate Party and (vs.) Serbian political system -
The Pirate Party shall never become a part of the Serbian political system as it is today. That is not an option. Those who view the Pirate Party as an attempt to establish a political party are simply wrong because that is not what we are in this system.
- The Ideas -
Our attempt to redefine the term 'pirate', now, when the media have already done enough is not a counter punch to the system. In this "era of information", by using the term 'pirate' somewaht ironically (in our name and/or actions), we seek to activate the people who can offer alternative methods and approaches to solving "problems of today". We seek to gather around the absolute values those peopple who have stepped aside from this rigid and pestilent system.
We are above the system! We have no documents, acts, signatures or stamps, we have no false commitments and double contracts. We are aware of our differences well enough and we shall never give them up! We have no need to think the same or to present ourselves in such way. We shall never be yay-sayers nor shall we compromize about the fundamental values!
I can freely say that the whole idea surrounding the Pirate Party is an honest attempt to contribute to the collective consciousness of the citizens of Serbia regarding the new ways of communication and life styles of today in a different way, an informal way, without hiding the background mechanisms. Publishing of motivatonal mechanisms of "big" organisations is the dirtiest part of business that we shall take on. Also, we do not do anything for money or glory, we do it firstly for ourselves, and then for each and every one around us.
The mechanism of patenting and locking up of knowledge that is in use today is slowing down the development and progress in every way. It is ridiculous to lock up an achievement that is of use to everyone unless a right to it is paid for. We are also aware of the fact that it is necessary to adequately stimulate and protect creative people.

Decentralization!
No Belgrade centralization!!!
It is essential to keep decentralizing in all the actions because the rest of Serbia has much more potential than Belgrade itself. We are also aware of the fact that this potential is not realized as in other centres in Serbia (Belgrade in the first place). However, we can not have true strength unless we do not cover litarally the whole territory of Serbia. We can not sense the local problems from distance and it is necessary to establish local action in all the places in Serbia.
- Leading points -
1. At all costs stay away from the Serbian political system as it is today. Serbian political system is, at the moment, the biggest national disease, bigger than molestation, violence, drugs, human trafficking, vulgarity and primitivism.
2. Establish a way of influencing the law through wiki mechanisms of publishing real values.
3. Know your place! Do not forget who you are and where you come from!
4. Collective consciousness but only through individual one.
5. Influence your surroundings with knowledge and ideas.
6. Respect interests and will of the one next to you as the ultimate nuance in your relationship.
- The practice (first tasks on the list) -
-establishing a completely functional Serbian torrent tracker and its maintenance
-exchange of knowledge (complete support to wiki databases and work on their verification)
-establishing a wiki system for the self government of the community
