Institucija pirata je pogrešno shvaćena u javnosti kao i institucija hakera. Pirati nisu oni ljudi koji na ulicama prodaju kopirane diskove (“rezance”) za 150din i od toga kupuju sebi večernje doze alkohola, nove presvlake i spojlere za golfa. Pirati nisu oni tech support momci koji na crno valjaju hardver i postavljaju how-to pitanja na otvorenim forumima da bi rešili svoje “biznis” probleme a potom taj hardver prodaju još glupljima od sebe. Pirati nisu oni koji “hakuju” tuđ wifi a potom ga naplacuju komsijama iz zgrade.

Pirati jednostavno svaki svoj dan provode u deljenju materijala i inteligentnoj interaktivnoj komunikaciji sa svojom okolinom. Razmena, igranje i interaktivna komunikacija su procesi koji oblikuju mozak pirata a ne pivo ili volkswagen.

Piratska Partija Srbije je želja da ova zemlja bude spremna za nova dešavanja koja nosi digitalno doba i razmena informacija bez ograničenja.

There are common misconceptions among the public about the institution of pirates as well as the hackers. The Pirates are not those “urban entrepreneurs” selling disk copies in the streets for 150 dinars and using the money to buy daily doses of alcohol, new car seat covers or spoilers for their Golfs. The Pirates are not those tech-support guys who sell black market hardware equipment and ask how-to questions in the open forums in order to solve their “business” problems and end up selling the hardware to those even dumber than themselves. The Pirates are not the ones hacking someone else’s wi-fi and then selling it to their neighbours.

The Pirates simply spend each day distributing materials and intelligently and interactively communicating with their surroundings. The exchange, playing and interactive communication are processes that shape the Pirates brain, not beer or Volkswagen.

Serbian Pirate Party is a wish for this country to be ready for new things brought on by the digital era and the limitless exchange of information.

L’institution des pirates informatiques, comme l’institution des hackers, est mal comprise par le public. Les pirates ne sont pas ceux qui vendent des copies de CD dans les rues à 150 dinars pour pouvoir acheter leur dose quotidienne d’alcool, de nouvelles housses de sièges ou des accessoires pour leur Golf Volkswagen. Les pirates informatiques ne sont pas gars maniaques de technique qui cherchent des possibilités de vendre illégalement la quincaillerie informatique et qui posent les questions de type “comment faire …?” sur des forums pour trouver une solution de leurs problèmes commerciaux, avant de vendre leur quincaillerie à des gens plus stupides qu’eux. Les pirates ne sont pas ceux qui piratent les réseaux sans fil d’autrui pour le vendre aux voisins à moitié prix.

Les pirates sont ceux qui, simplement, veulent être libres de partager le matériel et de communiquer intellectuellement avec leur entourage. L’échange, le jeu, la communication interactive sont les processus qui forment le cerveau des pirates et non pas la bière ni Volkswagen.

La Partie des pirates informatiques serbes – les Serbes qui sont en faveur du piratage veut que ce pays soit prêt pour les nouveautés de l’époque informatique et pour l’échange libre des informations.
